Granting of New and Renewal of Existing Business Permits

All businesses must secure a Business License and Mayor’s Permit before operating a new business or to continue operating an existing business. To Facilitate the renewal of business permits, at One-stop-Shop located on the 1st floor, Municipal Hall. The transaction can normally be completed in one (1) working day if requirements are complete.
WHO MUST AVAIL OF THE SERVICE:
Citizens doing business or plan to do business within the municipality.
BUSINESS PERMIT REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES: (NEW BUSINESS)
• STEP 1 – Secure Barangay Business Clearance and Barangay
Health Clearance in your respective barangay,
• STEP 2 – For new business fill up Business Permit Unified Form
• STEP 3 – Secure Environmental Clearance to the Solid Waste
Management Council Focal Person in your barangay
• STEP 4 – Secure and Register your Business Name at the
DTI Negosyo Center, Tigbawan,Lazi, Siquijor,
• STEP 5 – Apply for your Income Tax Return at Bureau of
Internal Revenue
• STEP 6 – After securing Step 1 and 2 proceed to Municipal
Treasurer Office Focal Person (Crestopher B. Vios)
for assessment and processing of your business permit,
• STEP 7 – Then proceed to Bureau of Fire Protection for
payment of Fire Safety Inspection Certificate,
• STEP 8 – After BFP proceed to Rural Health Unit to secure
Sanitary Permit to Operate, and
• STEP 9 – Submit the Fire Certificate and Sanitary Permit at the
Municipal Treasurer Office for attachment to your
Business Permit to be signed by Municipal Mayor and
Municipal Treasurer.
